OBJECT TALK COMPETITION:
“Speaking about something you love always makes you love it even more! ”. With the purpose of introducing children to public speaking by giving them the option of speaking about any object they are interested in, the competition, “OBJECT TALK” in English was held for the students. The little excellence described their favorite objects innovatively and creatively thus boosting their confidence, oratory skills and their memory.
ART AND CRAFT :
Learning art and craft enhances creativity and imagination in children. It encourages cognition and develops critical thinking skills. Students are given the opportunity to express their knowledge, ideas and feelings in ways that do not necessarily involve words. Art education for primary level students involves easy drawing and simple techniques of free hand drawing. For upper primary students, apart from drawing, different tones of colouring are included which improve the student’s creativity and observational skills. The various craft activities like origami nurtures the creativity and imaginative power of the students.
